Incredible Days in Manohara

Everyday is a happy day for me. Laughing, sleeping, eating and crying are some words that talk about me. My life is totally different with other friends, dunno but just totally different :). I often imagine how lucky I am when I can see a piece of cake on the plate while the others not, hehe that's just pragmatic guys. I just want to say that the most important thing in my life is an EXPERIENCE. How can I be the greatest without experience? That's impossible. One of the greatest thing in my life is in Manohara, yuppp Manohara Restaurant that is exactly located beside Borobudur temple in Magelang. Since 12th June until 14 July I has a PKL (a program in my major) in Manohara Restaurant. For knowing about my incredible experiences please just scroll my story and imagine how's Manohara looks like hehehehe.

9 models? Yeahh I can do it!

I started the first day in Manohara happily at that time, I was so excited for doing my activities in the restaurant. For the first, I felt nervous and did not know what would I do, but all of the employers and waiters there were friendly, they taught us how to make some models of napkin and never give up to help me. There were 9 models how to make napkin in a good arrangement. Some of them were complicated but I enjoyed a lot, my favorite model was kimono style hehe because it shaped like a kimono and it's really unique.

What's wrong with ORANGE JUICE?

It was the second day in Manohara, I still did know anything and tried to adapt everything carefully. I got the afternoon shift and I was so excited to help everyone, someone asked me to bring three orange juice to the customers. Excitedly, hurry up I took the orange juice and started to bring them. I had to bring the orange juice in the downstairs. Walked slowly and in the middle of the stairs, TENG TRENG BYURRRRR, one orange juice spilled and continued by two others orange juice, without any hesitation, I managed the orange juice spilled on my body so the glass would not be dropped and broken. Alhamdulilah all of the orange juice just spilled on my body and did not drop to the customers, big thanks to my body huhu. I felt those orange juice penetrated on my body, my white clothe became orange and I smelt like an orange juice perfume. I run and cried at the bathroom and my friend, Devi tried to make me calm down. I said sorry to everyone I met, Mr. Agus, Mr. Burhan Mr. Himawan and many others. I felt really sorry and asked for forgiveness but all of the pople in Manohara restaurant were kind to me, there was no one who mad at me, everyone tried to entertain me and teach me patiently. HOW LUCKY I AM HUHUHUHU :) It was one of my greatest experience in Manohara Restaurant.

In Manohara, my group and I were placed in different place, on of the plot was in Manohara VW. It's a kind of food court which sells some instant food such as hotdog, hamburger, pizza and some juice. So, my job when I was in the VW, I have to help for selling the food by sitting in the car and just giving the food to the customers after they have paid the food. Oh ya.. a lot of foreigners often come to the VW and buy the food. One day when I talked to the customers from America, he said that my english is so good. waww I was so happy.

That is the picture when I was doing my job for the "Sunrise Service". At that time, I woke up at 3 am and arrived in Manohara around 4 am. My friends and I were so excited and helped the Sunrise service in Manohara Vitharka.  I was waiting for the sunrise visitors beside the temple and asked them to change the flashlight with the souvenir. Before sunrise the visitors must take the flashlight and after the sunrise they must change it with the souvenir.

Every morning, Manohara restaurant provides a breakfast for the Sunrise visitors, the breakfast includes the ticket. Most of the visitors are foreigners and they will eat after come back from the temple. When I was in the restaurant, I had a job to collect the tickets from the visitors and please them for enjoying the breakfast. I was standing near the stair and gave them greetings such as Good morning, good evening and so on. I miss that activity :(

Met a lot of cute kiddos

One of my amazing experience was when I had to handle the sunrise around 300 package with my friends. It was from SD Penabur Jakarta, they came to Manohara to enjoy the sunruse from Borobudur temple. All of them excited and cheer full although there were some children who disappointed because the sunrise was not like what they expected. I was really proud for their attitude, all of them were kind and friendly, they always said thank you after getting the service from us.

Okhhhh I must take the banana!

Beside the sunrise, Manohara restaurant also offers the sunset package. That picture was taken when I helped for handling the dinner package. If in sunrise, it includes breakfast but sunset it includes the dinner. Ms. Sri asked me to watch out if there was something wrong on the food or when the visitors need me to know about the food. I like for telling what was the food at that time hehe. Most of the visitors asked about salak fruit, they were so curious about it and afraid to eat the salak wkwk. Then, I told to them about the fruit, not only salak but also another food such as serabi, pukis, mi godog and so on. Uhh that's one of my favorite activity in Manohara.

Guys, in Manohara I also helped to make a box for enfolding the snack from Manohara. Sometimes,  the visitors wanted to enfold their food after eating. So, our job at that time was making the box for the customers. For the first I could not fold it because it was too thick but Mr. Seta and Niken helped me to fold the box hehe. Another story which related with box was "Mr. Aldi". Why? Mas Aldi was really kind to me, he gave me some box and enfolded the food for me, not only that he also made me a tamarin squash. hemmmm. By the way, we were at our basecamp, FB wkwk

Helping for the sunset ticketing was one of my activities in Manohara. The ticket opened at 4 pm until 5.10 pm. My job was waiting for the visitors who want to buy the sunset ticket and helped the FO in Manohara for handling the reservation. It was one of the spot that I could see a lot of foureigners.

Special menu, Nasi Putri Manohara

You know guys my favourite activity during the lebaran season was taking the Nasi Putri Manohara menu, hehe. after I had finished for ordering the customer, I had to take the menu by myself and even deliver the menu to the customer, and I proud of myself hehe. Actually this picture was taken during the Lebaran season thats why there was "Nasi Putri Manohara" because it was one of the special lebaran menu in Manohara restaurant. There was another menu such nasi brongkos, gedang kuning, gado-gado an the others.

(International Borobudur Festival)

When there was an Borobudur International Festival, I had to helped the service in Manohara Vitharka because there was dinner for around 150 people so my friends and I helped to handle the dinner. At that time, all of the guest were special guest from the government. Waww that was challenging experience for me.  While waiting the guest eating, my friends and I helped the waiters to clean up if there was a dish.

Manohara Restaurant gave me special atmosphere, the romantic spot always made me miss the place. When there was no visitors I just waiting at the corner and enjoying the beauty of Manohara. Some waiters were boring maybe, but not with me. I really enjoyed the situation, when I bored, I would go to the pastry or kitchen then asked anything that I can helped, oh ya,. the people in pastry and kitchen were kind to me, Ms. Karti always gave me juice, coca cola, milkshake and many other drinks when I was in the pastry. So do in the kitchen, Mr. Darmadi gave me bakmi godog, hemmm so delicious

What language do you want to use?

Beside VW and Manohara Resto, I also had to helped the service in AVIS (Audio Visual). It's a place for watching a historical movie about Borobudur. The ticket just usual, not too expensive, 3000 for the domestic children, 5000 for the adult and for the foreigners just pay 10 thousands. The movie which played in Avis was about the history of Borobudur, it talked about the relief and the legend. There were 7 languages when the visitors want to play the movie, English, Germany, Spanish and others. Not only that, in Avis I also had to helped in the cashier of Avis.

That is the view in Dagi hill. Dagi hill is one of the part of Manohara. It is kind of a place for enjoying the sunrise with the view to the Borobudur temple directly. After enjoying the sunrise, the visitors can get the service for breakfast in Dagi hill. The distance from Manohara restaurant is not too far, just around 5 minutes by walking.

Once again I would like to tell you about the greatest spot in Manohara. That is the beauty of  sunrise in Borobudur temple, you will not get this experience except in Borobudur, especially the service in Manohara. I just want to say I am the luckiest girl heehe. Love you Manohara Restaurant, I will miss you really bad.

Impression: 

Being a part of Manohara is one of the greatest thing in my life. I get a lot experiences and also friends there. It is really hard for loosing all of you, not loosing I mean but we cannot meet everyday and I am totally sure that I will miss all of part from Manohara Restaurant. From Manohara, now I know various kind of people's characteristic and how to handle a problem. My happiness cannot be said just by words. That is really my BEST experience in my life. 

Suggestion:

Do not blame someone just because of their cover. We are same human, we make a lot of mistakes but learn from the mistake is a wise thing, for the next students and for all of the readers please enjoy your life by doing a greet thing. Dont forget come to Manohara Restaurant hehe.

If there is a meeting, there must be separation Thank You Mr. Ferry who is really patient and care with me. You are incredible lecture for me. I will miss everything from Manohara. Pak Agus, BuTitik, Pak Irwan, Bu Rini, who are kind to me. Bu Sri who always kind although at the first I think that she is fierce but actually she is really really a kind woman huhu so sad to leave her. Pak Burhan who is patient and never angry with me. Mas Triyono I will not forget you hehe, my first tip is from Mas Triyono when I have to handle some foreigners. Pak Eko who likes to enfold me some foods hehe, Mas Ardi, who never stingy with me and gives me some breads. Mas Bani who likes to make juice for me, thats delicious hehe. Ibu Karti who never bore to give me milksake and coca cola wkwk. Mas Aldi who is cruel wkaka. Mas Rhomadhon who has the same story life with me, oh huhu. Mas Himawan who often naughty with me hemmm. Pak Treek who is really kind to me in any condition, take me when I could not go home at that time hehe. Mas Darmawan who likes to smile the most hehe. Mas Khafi who is totally handsome (tapi boong wkwk). Mas Seta and Kak Niken who are not separated each other and always make me laugh. Mas Sarno who never smile. Kak Upik who always asks me breakfast hehe. Pak Dariyat, a smart man who can speak more than 5 languages and he teaches me Spanish hehe. Mas Hendy who is funny. Kak Noby, Kak Nia, Mas Galih, Mbak Sri, Fina, Erna, Mas Bayu, Mas Wilis thank you for your kindness. I love you all.
